Sergio Tapiro Velasco ganó el primer lugar del concurso de fotografía Travel Photographer of the Year en la categoría naturaleza.
The Power of Nature fue la imagen con la que ganó este premio y en ella puede observarse un volcán en erupción que fue capturada el 13 de diciembre de 2015 en Rancho de Aguirre, Colima.
«Estaba en el pueblo de Comala cuando de repente vi una luz incandescente sobre el cráter del volcán y comencé a tomarle fotos», explica Tapiro en la descripción de su foto.
